TIME OUT NEW YORK issue 317:  "The Antifolk set takes over Central Park for a day."  

October 28th, 2001 marked the first East Village Outdoor Antifolk Revue at the Central Park Naumberg Bandshell.  Master of Ceremonies, Joie Dead Blond Girlfriend organized the acts and hosted.  Performers included him, co-organizers Major Matt Mason and me, Fenton Lawless, Simple, Stephan, Jude Kastle, Paleface, James Broughel, Atoosa, Tony Hightower, Lenny Molotov, Randi Russo, Kenny Davidsen, Jon Berger, Jeff Lightning Lewis, American Anymen, Patsy Grace, Grey Revell, Dina of Pre-War Yardsale, Drew Blood, Brad Thomas, Cockroach, Toby Goodshank, Seth from Dufus, Dave Deporis, Derek Richmond, Lunchin, Joe Bendik and The Voyces.  Jeff Lewis illustrated the ad and the banners.  Ami of SideWalk provided additional support, both tangible and intangible.
