He directed The Music Lovers, The Devils, The Boy Friend, Lisztomania, Altered States and Women in Love.  He has a unique cinematic vision and is also the sum of his collaborations with actor favorites Glenda Jackson & Oliver Reed, producer Roy Baird, screenwriter Larry Kramer, production designer Derek Jarman, musicians Richard Rodney Bennett, Peter Maxwell Davies, Andre Previn and Rick Wakeman. 

Another interesting project:  The film version of Bram Stoker's Lair of the White Worm.
